    I thought that I would share, after seeing this:

    This is what caught my attention:
    "Agave nectar" - "It can be most useful for people who are diabetic, have insulin resistance (Syndrome X), or are simply watching their carbohydrate intake"


    The truth is that there is considerable debate about the benefits and the interaction with the body's liver. People are promoting it as a healthy alternative to sugar, when in fact there is ample data showing that it is metabolized by the liver and converts to fat more easily than any other sugar.

    Bottom line, it is not Low-Carb friendly...

    Agave has about 16g/carbs per tablespoon, that alone should tell you it's not low-carb...
