    Hi everyone,

I'm new to using fitday but figured I really need to start tracking things to keep on track. The trouble that I don't understand is if I make a recipe, is there somewhere on Fitday that I can input the ingredients and it will calculate the nutritional information? I see you can put a custom food but its asking me for the nutritional information on it. Help! I've found it too cumbersome to track up til now....

    Thanks for your help!

No, I don't think you can do this in Fitday. When I was using Fitday (I'm using DailyPlate now), I was creating recipes on NutritionData and then entering the totals in Fitday.

    Here's the link to NutritionData:

      Re: Fitday

What I did when I started fitday was to go to a blank day and enter in all the ingredients for a recipe and make a note of all the nutritional information including vitamins and minerals. Then I could create a custom entry for the whole recipe (stating however many servings it made) which I could log each time I used it.

Now I have the pc version of fitday it allows me to create a custom entry by dragging the ingredients into the entry and do the calulations automatically.

I purchased the pc version (on Ellizellen's recommendation) and it's well worth the money as you can input all of your favourite recipes and it calculates all the nutritional value for you.

Thanks for the replies! What is Daily plate in comparison to Fitday?

It's like Fitday, does basically the same stuff, but it looks a little fancier.
