    Thanks for the replies so-far. I'm not concerned with induction, I just try to shoot for the lowest sugar / impact carbs with most anything. The Luna and Fiber One bars, like most offerings from the major breakfast food companies, have a level of sugar that I would just as soon avoid.

      So have you tried South Beach or making them?

        I didn't mention them earlier and probably should have. I am trying to find something along the lines of the "old" Atkins breakfast bars; something along the lines of a nougat texture and a fruit flavor. And the lowest possible sugar / digestible carbs.

        And making them myself? The U.N. would ban them as WMDs. Let's not go there...
