    I feel terrible.. I am n day 4 of induction and I have lost 5 lbs... but I may have blown it tonite...... tonite I went out with the girls at work, and without thinking automatically ordered a rye and coke zero... to be honest I have had about 5 of them.. I knwo its bad,, I guess I just need to hear.. shake it off and forget about it..... so please any encouragement is appreciated.. I will nto let this get me down

    All that will do is stall your weight loss for a few days, not stop it. It's not a horrible mistake, and you don't have to start over or anything. Your body will burn the alcohol, not the fat, for a little while.

    I think if you work out pretty good today and tomorrow you might get the alcohol out of your system faster.

    Just move along, don't beat yourself up over it!

          Yep -pick yourself up, dust yourself off and go! YOOHOOO! Go for that hike!

            I'm willing to bet most people here have done the same thing...so forgive yourself but don't forget how you felt after the cheat! That is what will keep you motivated to continue! Congrats on the 5 pound loss, hope to see many more for you!

              I have a couple of Grey Goose Martinis a week but always work out later on. I have not had any stalls. It has been a consistent 4-5 lbs a week. I may be unique in that sense. Look at it this way, better liquor than a milk shake! Good luck.

                Thank everyone for the encouragement.. it really does help... unfortunately this morning i stepped on the scale and had a two pound gain.. but I am not gonna beat myself up over it... I know it happens.... but for better measures I am gonna walk to and from work today ( its a brisk 20 min walk each way) in stead of drive.....
                Just wanted to say thanks again for the encouragement.. that is what I like about this site.. everyone is here for everyone!!!! Cheers!!!
