      I pick mine up from the local rite aid pharmacy. most pharmacies store them behind the counter. Sometimes they are out and have to special order them. I pay 8 dollars for a 50 count bottle.

                      No, Dr. A himself says it isn't necessary in DANDR - I find them helpful to keep myself on track.

                          Some of us found we could get no colour changes with them even while losing weight and having the other symptoms of being in ketosis - so I would say they are only an optional extra 'tool' rather than a neccessity.

                                      Be careful not to become addicted to using the ketostix. I have recently read where people use them 2-3x per day. It's like getting on the scale 2-3x a day. Follow the plan & it will work for you!
