Ok, I am on the OWL and am still in a nice ketosis, no cheating, not really exercising much (I know bad, bad, bad) I just can't seem to get away from my office and my computer long enough. I own a 24 hour nursing agency and I am busy dusk to dawn!(probabaly the reason I gained all this fat in the first place) I do walk in place, do isometric stuff like that. I have lost approximately 20lbs since I started the first part of November. However, the last few days I have noticed a horrible pain in all my joints especially my left knee, along with cracking and shifting. My knee has almost gone out a few times. I have never ever had any problems with my joints, pain, injuries or otherwise. I am in onder land, finally and maybe it is the fact that I just took 20 lbs off my already stressed joints and now they are breathing...? Who knows, has anyone heard of this, or is this common and related to Atkins? I take Vit's, and glucosamine daily anyways, just because I am 35 and it's good for you as you get older to help prevent breaking down.. Ha! I am a nurse and have never heard of this. I know gout is exacerbated by high protein diets at times, but I don't think this is gout? Anyone?
