Your yule log looks alot better than the one I made, Elizellen!

I posted the recipe on my blog along with a variation of it I used for an Easter or birthday (same recipe, but no rolling involved.)

Sweetened condensed milk? Nope, haven't found a good substitute for that. You could fake it by adding a sugar substitute to low carb milk, but you won't get the same caramel-like taste the real stuff has, nor will you get the same thickness.

Yeah, I was looking for something to replace the condensed milk in magic bars... made with carbquik just isn't right....

Would something like clotted cream or créme fraiche and a 'legal' sweetener do the trick do you thinnk?
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Hmm That sounds worth a shot. How do you make clotted cream?

I usually buy it but here are some websites with a few ways of making it
Cornish Clotted Cream, the cream from Cornwall
Cornish Clotted Cream -homemade scones, with real fuit jam
              H2G2

The last one gives a smaller quantity than the others - as most of us won't have access to a couple of gallons of milk I assume!!
