  • attack of the butterbrickle

I was viciously attacked by a bowl of butterbrickle yesterday around 2pm. I had been doing so well! I love the fact that my rleatives who have not seen me since before atkins were so impressed with my weight loss! it was such a nice feeling! AND THEN they repeatedly tell me that I've lost so much just a bite won't hurt.... AGGHHH it was more than I could take! it did manage to stop myself after 3 big peices of buterbrickle. after a struggle the butterbrickle retreated into the lap of my generously proportioned auntie where it soon ceased to exist!

Aww! Well, at least you didn't eat the whole thing! Just make sure you get right back on the wagon! And what is butterbrickle?

it is a hard caramel with nuts mixed in and spread out thin. it is about 1/4-1/2 inch thick and it is very brittle. You break it into peiced and eat it. It really is very very good! Expecially with a cup of hot tea or coffee. They are a tradition in my family.
