I know this is probably now allowed but i have a very nasty cough which is keeping me up at night. I am taking cough syrup (medicine) today which i hope will help me to get rid of this cough. I fear it contains sugar in it. Am i totally breaking induction? can i continue to follow induction (day 2) or wait until i am fully recovered to start again?

Re: Cough syrups? induction help!
Sorry you're sick! You should be able to find cough medicine in pill form - if you can't, take care of yourself and just take the syrup and heal yourself. There are syrups that are made for diabetics, maybe look into one. Keep making smart food choices, stay on induction, just focus on making yourself better so you can really hit it when the cough is gone and you're back to normal.
Get well soon!

Re: Cough syrups? induction help!
As Leanlioness suggested, you should be able to find sugarfree options for diabetics at the chemist. Even if you can't and have to use sugar versions, just stick to your 'legal' foods and get well
You might experience cravings for non-Atkins foods/sweets so be prepared with loads of 'legal' snacks you can grab instead!!Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
