  • Elizellen, Bread assistance needed.

Been trying to make your full sized loaf bread and cannot get the sucker to rise above 1.5 inches! That's a tiny sandwich!.
Any ideas on what I can do? I have all the ingredients and even increased the baking powder and vital wheat gluten a bit but no success.
I really, really want to enjoy cheese toast again in the mornings.

Thanks so much for any help anyone can give!

I am not Elizellen and I have not tried her recipe
I do bake bread though. I have a breadmachine and use wheat gluten. I posted a recipe in this thread

Liv, Thanks so much! I think I might ask for a breadmachine for my birthday!

        Hi Donna

Sorry I haven't responded sooner but I haven't been around on ADBB much over the festive season.

I can't think why yours is not rising, but sometimes when mine turns out flatter than I expected I can still use it for sandwiches etc by slicing it the other way (horizontally).
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

          Thanks for the reply.
I will try a couple more things maybe and try Liv's breadmachine idea.
