  • Bathroom Scale Recommendations

I'm looking at buying a digital (not the dial kind) bathroom scale and would like recommendations from others. Is there a scale that you absolutely love because it's accurate, easy to read, etc? Is there a scale that wouldn't be worth it even if you got it for free (fluctuates each time you step on it, hard to read, etc)?

Please include brand and model number (if you have it). Thanks!

      (They're are my set #3)

For your bad hair days, go non-digital, with a durable scale that can take a beating, and lie to you to make you happy (and then tell you the truth when you're ready to step on it again, the right way)

(This is similar to my scale #2)

For all-round forever keeps, good for everyone, anytime (even when the digital set is dead) even till death do you part,

(This was always my favorite, since I was little, and my Grandmother had them and used until she died at age 92; DM has them now, and I'll eventually own them. They are 100% accurate still!

          Funny....too funny...

You can have mine! Free shipping! Although my DH said he wants it to help weigh things in his office aka: the garage. But just incase you're really wanting to buy a scale for future reference.....I bought a Weight Watcher's digital scale after using my sister's while on vacation at her house and then came home and used my mom's the same week. The number was the same...not a great number, but it was the same. So, my point? It works.

I like the dial one though...you can adjust it to your mood

I do not know the name brand or model number BUT... This one talks to me and tells me how much I weigh. It sounds annoying, but it is quite motivating! Good luck in your quest!

                Re: Bathroom Scale Recommendations

i really like my health o meter weight tracking scale... i don't think the one i have is still available, but newer models of the same brand/type are available now. it's accurate and reliable (i've tested it several times by re-weighing right away and it's always exactly the same weight). i like the memory feature too.
it's just little ol' three chord me.

                  Re: Bathroom Scale Recommendations

I just bought a health o meter too. Other than the fact that I weighed more than I did at my last doctor's appointment (probably real weight gain), I have weighed myself over and over again and it seems pretty accurate. The only thing you have to watch for is making sure it is on a flat surface.

I don't know if you can get them in the states but the plain jane digital Weight watchers one is really good!

I brought mine in Argos (UK Store) and it is great. I am a kiwi and like all my measurements in Kgs and my partner is English and he likes all his ain Sts and lbs. These scales are so simple to change over and really give a consistent reading.

                            Re: Bathroom Scale Recommendations

I have just bought the Weight Watchers one. It measures weight (in .1 pound increments), body fat, body fat percentage, water percentage. I like it.
I replaced my Tanita one which was still going strong after six years (and they bother weigh me the same so are both accurate). I could recommend either actually. I just wanted one that measured in tenths of pounds.
