  • Potty Talk?!

    I'm still doing the induction phase and I was on atkins before but was stupid and got off, but I'm back and determined! Anyhow as I've read and experienced before you get constipated well before I wasn't really measuring and trying to get tons of water in, but this time I am I'm drinking like 90 -100 ounces a day and well I am having the opposite effect of constipation and like today about 7-8 times I'm not eating that much I mean like excessively and I AM NOT sick to my stomach like a stomache bug or anything it just started when I started drinking so much water! Is this normal and a good thing? Just wondering because I've been going so much! Has anyone else experienced lose stools I guess not so much diarreah just lose and often because of lots of water drinking? I'm so embarrased! But I guess what I'm asking is this ok normal or should I ease up on the water, I didn't thik I was drinking that excessively.

    Any time you change your diet, it takes your system a while to adjust. Extra fat makes for looser stools and so does more water than you are used to. I have always tended towards loose stools as opposed to constipation.

    Just stick to the program and you will become "regular," whatever that means to your body.

    Loose stools are better than constipation. Slow transit time gives your body more time to re-absorb toxins that would exit the body in stool.
