When using Fitday, under activities, what do you set your lifestyle/metabolism of calories burned to? Which formula do you use Mifflin Equation or Harris-Benedict Equation or neither? Or you just don't care about the calorie feature? I just don't get how that works. It says I burn about 2700 calories just by living. Thanks!

Re: Metabolism
I use the one that give me the lower number just in case. My number is a lot lower than yours. But then again I'm old.

Re: Metabolism
I dont take much notice of that part, and dont try to limit or increase my calories to any specific number.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Re: Metabolism
Hmm. I have been wondering about how accurate the metabolism counter is. According to the lowest number I burned 5400 calories today- I am a nurse and work twelve hour shifts and am on my feet walking up and down the halls/lifting pt's for at least 10 of the twelve hours. So far today I have eaten 550 calories. I am not hungry because I am in a strong ketosis. I had 2 hard boiled eggs today with 3 strips of bacon (weighed it by grams) and a small side salad with blue cheese dressing for lunch. It is dinner time right now and I just cant eat! Will this hurt my metabolism??? I will probably force myself to eat some celery with blue cheese later and if possible another hardboiled egg. I am off chicken/beef/pork for the moment as i needed a break for a couple of days...
