I think the question is absurd... Of course we can! :P

*cough, cough... serious again* Since that food exists, there must be people who actually eat it. That's sickening... the recipe for disaster no matter if one is dieting or not!

And people wonder why America is so "fat".... granted, it is OUR fault if we actually eat it, but IMO, it shouldn't even be an option on a menu.

I saw a documentary some while ago (can't remember the name), where people on the street were being asked if they ever read the nutritional information for the food they eat... and a lot of them (at least a lot of the ones shown) said they don't. I have friends who can eat whatever without gaining one ounce (this incl. my brother), but there are so many people with a weight issue who have no idea (don't care?) what they are putting into their mouth. Not to mention here the health issue...

No wonder.... I got the info from a yahoo! story that called it the single most unhealthy option in an American restuarant.

                holy crap - 263 g sugars???

One 8 oz. cup sugar (volume) = 6.9 oz (weight) or 196 gram

263 grams of sugar = 1 and 1/3 cups of sugar (for us who understand "cups" instead of grams, lol)
but dang! 1 and 1/3 cups of sugar in ONE DRINK???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm surprised that doesn't put some people into a diabetic coma!

How is it possible that it has 241 grams of carbs? It's just deep fried onions.

I am just wondering who in their right mind would eat a whole bloomin onion by theirselves?? For the entire onion to be one service is a tad silly.

                          1. The Worst Food in America of 2009

Baskin Robbins Large Heath Bar Shake
                          2,310 calories

                          266 g sugars

Let's look at America's Worst Food in numbers:

73: The number of ingredients that go into this milkshake.
66: The number of teaspoons of sugar this drink contains.
11: The number of Heath Bars you would have to eat to equal the number of calories found in one Baskin Robbins Large Heath Bar Shake.
12: The average number of minutes it takes to consume this drink.
240: The number of minutes you'd need to spend on a treadmill, running at a moderate pace, to burn it off.
