  • Heyy, was just wonderin...

I'm going to Tenerife at the start of July this year
Is it possible for me to drop from size 16 jeans to size 10-12 doing this diet and exercise by then?
    So i have like 5months.
    Opinions appreciated
    Thanks x

You should be able to lose what is right for your body. The most important thing is realizing you didn't get "fat" in 5 months, so it will take a while to get "skinny." It's hard, I know, we want fast fast results,.... this diet does work and it works well if you stick to it. good luck!

Who can say ? But if you start Atkins now and stick to plan all the way till your holiday I bet you will be in far better shape then you are now
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

Well... I'm in a 16 jean now, and have a holiday planned for July 21st (and one in between which I hope I can stay on track on..!)

I'm sure hoping for size 12 jeans for that Summer holiday and 14 for the one in mid May.

Either way.. sticking to it... both of will be lighter than we are at the moment, so best we give it our best shot eh!

Well, as has been said before, everyone will lose differently. I am 4 11, started at 187 size 18. I restarted in June of 2008 and by the end of september 2008 I was fitting into a size 10 but super comfy in a size 12. ( I tend to like my clothes a tad loose) Good Luck to you!

I should add that I exercised along with dieting.. if you do that, you will fit into those clothes faster than weight loss alone!

Hi there, yes it is very very possible! I want to be 60lbs lighter by July, and I am pretty positive it will happen. If you are following everything DR. A says, and add lots and lots of exercise, and lots lots of water, you will reach your goal. It is not unrealistic. I think what you want to lose is great. You will be where you wanna be come this summer if you do what your supposed to!

Slow and steady wins the race right?
Isn't it so sad we want instant results? I am the same way, but I have to tell myself, I didn't get this way overnight. I bet if you 'diet and exercise' from now til then you will be very happy with your results! You can do it! I'm rooting for you!Keep me posted, please.

                  Re: Heyy, was just wonderin...

Here, I will consult my crystal ball. You gave us absolutely no information about you--age, gender, how long you've been at this weight, if you're diabetic, how active you are--we can't even see you--how could we give you any kind of answer?

One thing for sure: If you don't go on some kind of reducing diet plan and exercise, you'll at least still be in a size 16 at the first of July or higher. What do you have to lose by trying?. . . besides pounds that is.
People who say it can't be done, should not interrupt those doing it.
