    Re: fitday PREMIUM?

Fitday PC software hasn't updated in the 4 years I've had it. I refuse to live without it! It's customized for me to the hilt.

I didn't know they were offering a premium version online now. to go look at it!

General rule of thumb for success: If it requires a degree in chemical engineering to pronounce it, you probably shouldn't eat it.

Right...but it allows you to sync with Fitday PC.

What torques me is that they're not updating FitdayPC users from version 1 to version 2- they're making us buy the software again.

But....regardless. I'll update the software. *grr*

Now I wonder if version 2 will let me import my version 1 file. Re-entering 4 years worth of custom foods and recipes sounds... uggggggh.

Well, the answer to my first question is a big, fat YES! [img]http://www.brookjay.net/emotes/woohoo.gif[/gif]. It updated my fitday file for the new version. Whewwwwww.

I wonder if it makes my PC journal and stuff all accessible online. Guess maybe I should suck it up and pay the if I'm gonna find out, huh?

I'm not going to pay for an upgrade to the PC software. It does what I need it to do.

I mostly am curious about the online stuff... $6 a month is more than I imagine it is worth if you own the PC copy.

                Re: fitday PREMIUM?

Well, beware. My Fitday PC started crashing anytime I used the customized food entries. It wasn't just on this computer either- it was doing it on both of them with different OS's. No good. I sent my file to tech support and they couldn't figure it out either. (How's that for confidence inspiring?! ) The good news is that it's not crashing in FD V2. That'll make using it easier again.

I'm digging and asking a couple of other people right now about the online version. One of them told me she's not thrilled with spending the money on the premium version because there's nothing on it she didn't have in FitdayPC.

I'm not seeing any big reasons to sign up. No additional perks to be had in doing so that are popping out at me. - If I hear differently, I'll holler. For now? Nahh.
