  • Why no nuts during induction?

    I really love nuts and am miffed as to why I can't eat them during the induction period. ANYONE KNOW WHY?

      Also, the WOE that Dr Atkins devised is to add food groups little by little to test how our bodies are affected by them. Nuts and seeds come pretty quickly on the list, 3rd maybe. I found out when I added nuts that I couldn't limit myself to a handful or 20, I needed to eat the whole thing. Some folks find that the salt stalls their weight loss, so its just a precaution, but an important one.

        Thank you so much for the info! I know I'm new here and eventually I would have found the answers but that one really bothered me.
