    induction weeki lost 6lbs after that its been 2 weeks i have lost nothing but my wight is going up and down everyday?
    Help.
    P.S how much meat are we realy allowed to eat?

    Nikki, how much weight in total do you hope to lose?

    An 'average' amount to lose on induction is between 5% and 10% - what percentage of your total hoped-for loss was 6 pounds?

    Have you moved to OWL now or are you staying on induction for a while longer?
    Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

      i need to loose 3 and a half sones. i am stil on induction.... and do not know the %....

        3.5 stones = 49 pounds, so your 6 pounds lost was about 12.5% which is not bad at all and leaves you with about 43 pounds left to shed.

        Unless you particularly want to stay on induction for a while longer you might not get any benefit from doing so, and might find that moving to OWL kickstarts your losses again. Many members have found this to be true for them.

        As for the question of how much meat we are allowed to eat . . . . there are no set rules for this as everyone's body needs different amounts. Also depending on our level of activity our appetite will change from day to day.

        Taking a look at the induction menus in DANDR will show what amount of meat Dr Atkins considered to be a serving. Eat a similar amount as in those menus & recipes to start with, and then wait say 20 minutes. If you still feel hungry then have a little more, but stop before you are 'stuffed'

          If this helps, you are not alone. In fact, the same thing happened to me. The first week I lost 7lbs and maintianed steady for 2.5 weeks. Today (after a mile and a half jog last night) I am starting to lose again -1.5lbs. I really have not be exercising as much as I should, I believe this is why I stalled...that and I was eating some Atkins products (since the first time I did Atkins they did not affect me)...and not drinking more than 60oz of water a day when I really need about 100oz. So, I vowed to change all that and once I did I saw an immediate result. Try to be honest with yourself and see if there is something that you are not doing as well as you could be and change it...then see if you start losing again.

            I have lost just as much moving up into OWL.... and it is A LOT more fun to eat when you climb the ladder! I just had tacos (flax) for dinner, and have not had an egg in weeks! TRUST ME, do Atkins as it was intended. Good luck!
