  • Atkins Week 3

    Hi Everyone! This is week three and I have lose 20 lbs. Since I have alot more weight to take off I am staying on the induction for several more weeks.
    Does anyone have any great breakfast recipes?

    Well I'm pretty plain and simply and pretty much stick to scrambled eggs or an omlet. I just put some cheese, bacon and broccoli in my omlets and it's YUMMY plus takes care of some of the veggies necessary for the day So even though I can't give you great recipes, I still wanted to say congrats!! That is an AWESOME loss!!! WTG

      I often make crustless quiches at the weekend so i can have a slice for breakfast. The recipe I use is in the recipe database - link in my signature.
      Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

          Thank you for the reply- here is a typical day for me
          2 scrambled eggs
          3 pieces of bacon
          peppermint tea with Stevia

          10 am snack
          2 ounces of cheese

          12:15
          2 cups spinach salad
          2 ounces cheese
          egg salad


          3 pm snack
          1 jello


          7 pm
          some kind of meat item
          1 cup of acceptable veggie

            Hi! I tried the quiche recipe from the website and my family really loved it. Thanks for posting the recipes.

            I found some really great items from Walden Farms like no sugar no carb no calorie dressings, syrup, dips, and spaghetti sauce. They have a website also at www.waldenfarms.com. The grocery stores that had the items were Brookshire, Albertson's, and Sprouts. Everyone have a great day.
