I can't believe that I never noticed this until today. I have not had a headache since September!!!!!!!! My headaches were so frequent that I constantly either had one, was getting one, or just getting over one. And these were migraine type headaches. One of the moms in our group that hang out in the park after school so our kids can play for 45 minutes was complaining of a migraine. I gave her some migraine relief tips and that was when I realized that I have been headache free for 4 months!

Re: sudden realization
You know, I read a book (I'll have to look it up) where a biochemist used to have horrible headaches for years. They were dibilitating and affected her job and her family. Eventually, she found out that she was gluten-intolerant. Once the stopped eating gluten, the headaches disappeared. I've often wondered if I'm gluten intolerant because I always feel better without wheat. It wouldn't surprise me if many of us on this board had problems with gluten as well as sugar...cheri

Re: sudden realization
You are right, Cheri
I have seen many lowcarbers relate how being on Atkins and cutting out many foods that are known to cause intolerance problems (milk, nuts, strawberries, grains etc) then gradually reintroducing them in a controlled maner (as in OWL) led them to discover what it was in the past that gave them grief that they never knew was causing the health problems they had.Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
