  • Ohhhhhhhhhh POO

Well.. this morning after getting my blood tests back - thyroid fine, cholesterol 5.3 and both tryiglicerides 2. something (both normal range) - and going back end of feb to see any change

I got home to see my stix had gone from dark to almost nothing..?????? besides my decaf coffee, splenda and cream, I hadn't had anything except my multivitamins and evening primrose oil.. so looked and my multivitam says starch in the one zillion ingredients.. and (something dextrose which I think is also bad)...

also whats glycerol.. is that a naughty too, as thats in my EPO..

Well, just had a yummy brekkie, and now on my 3rd pint of water.

    hugs to all.

PS - I have offically dropped a dress size.. and yesterday I put on a size 16 dress which didn't fit me last week, plus size 16 jeans (abit snug) but still doing the trick..

Glycerol can be a sweetener. It is used for instance in Atkins bars. It has carbs. As with most artificial sweeteners there is a discussion of how many carbs we process and whether it affects our blood sugar.

Any time your eating schedule gets off for any reason, forgo using the stix for at least a day. If you are not diabetic, they are barely accurate on a good day. There are so many variables (hydration, exercise, time of day, etc.) as to what color shows to worry overly much.

You do have to watch supplements. They are full of no-nos. There are better brands that are starch and sugar free.
