I actually don't mind this diet at all - I have also noticed lately I have all of a sudden had some bursts of energies wanting to get up and move around

yesterday i actually cleaned my entired kitchen - not that it does not get cleaned but i mean i really cleaned i was standing on chairs washing cabinets and getting on my knees doing the floor my kitchen looks dang good right now lol

i have cut out soda been taking excedrine - actually 1/2 an excedrine but only when i feel the nausea coming on from withdraws - some days i only have to take 1/2 a tablet which is about 35 mg of caffeine other days i have to take 3 halves so about 105 mg of caffeine - but its lessening each day like today i didnt even start getting a headache til about 5 pm at night so hoping the cravings for it go away all together

Congrats so far! That is awesome! I suggest moving on up to OWL. THis is where we re-learn to eat. THis is also where we learn what works and DOES NOT WORK for your body. I learned that berries are like fat magnets for me! (except cranberries) I have also learned that flax meal WORKS VERY WELL for me. I use it to make tacos and sandwiches! I was on extended induction for about a month then moved on. I wish I had moved on sooner! I have lost just as much during OWL. THis may be unique, but I say move up and see. Wouldn't it be nice if 40 carbs a day would yield you the same weight loss? THat is a lot of yummy stuff being left on the table. Just my two cents. Good luck!

Maybe not once you add more onions (1/2 cup raw = 6 net carbs and cooks down into a couple of spoonfuls) dairy (1/2 cup greek yogurt = 3 net carbs and makes a great topping or dessert) nuts/seeds (1/2 cup ground unroasted almonds = 3 net carbs and makes great baked goods) and berries/melons (1/4 cup of blueberries = 4 net carbs and is a very small portion but adds lots of taste)

Climbing the carb ladder does not necessarily mean eating a lot of extra bulk, just changing your food choices.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Hi guys I have a sad confession...the first two days out of induction and on tho OWL have been rough. I think it's better I saty on induction a little while longer, I am not yet ready to take of my induction training wheels. It's been too much salt and carbs and not the protien and veggie filled balance I was so comfortably accustomed to. So I am back in my induction cubby for now. A trip to the grocery store will get me straight. I am going to the gym now which is outstanding!

                      Hi

Congrats on your loss todate, like you I am on OWL but and it a struggle - I have no option as I am at goal weight and now slipping under weight. It is a mind set and finding the foods that you enjoy nd still make you function well, I have never tolerated carbs very well, don't enjoy berries, onions or dairy products - but trying for sure!

                      All the best

The first week of OWL shouldn't be much different than induction, you just add another cup of veggies I believe.
You add foods one at a time so that you can find out how your body reacts to them.

                        Goal 2: 159
                        Goal 3: 154 (normal BMI)
                        Goal 4: 149
                        Goal 5: 145
                        Goal 6: 140

                        Goal weight: 140???

So what did you add for your rung one 5 net carb addition?

Hey, I am on OWL and I feel great! I am relaxed again and realize this is more of the same with just a tiny bit more carbs, and I can do it! I am far less terrified as I was at first. Activity is key!
