    I am back to 303.8
    Unfortunantly Superbowl took its toll on me
    We hosted it at our house which i agreed to take a planned break just for the evening of superbowl and really was only 3 things i ate that were not on plan - I did not think it was that big of a deal and it wasnt at the time until the end of the night and there were so many leftovers so my friends suggest how about we come over tomorrow for dinner to help finish this of and I said ok - stayed on plan all day monday until they came over ugghhh and gave in to temptation - Tuesday still more leftovers and I gave into temptation again

    I told my husband we could not host parties at our house again for a long time unless everything we make is plan friendly - Period no exceptions - From now on we will have our friends host so that we can come home empty handed and not have the devils food sitting in my fridge or in my cabinets

    James has taken everything that was leftover still and brought it to his job which of course give it 10 minutes and it will be gone there and today i do the shameful reflection on my food journal of a big ol FAT FAILED over 3 days

    I wanted to tell you guys so that I felt responsible for my actions so I could not just shove it under a carpet and pretend it didnt happen then 2 weeks down the road say i just dont understand what happened

    However on the brightside went to dr yesterday - and apparently this extra weight that i carry has caused my body to produce ummm i dont wanna get this wrong some sort of extra horomones which have caused all sorts of issues that i had been having - they got me on some meds to conrol the issues at hand that i am having and she said this should sort out the problem I am having during the 10 days a month i have to take the meds and hip hip hooray it looks like it did sort it out as i am not having the problem i was having before sorry trying not to mention what was wrong as its a little graphic - anyways i have to take these meds 10 days a month she said after a while i might be able to switch to 10 days every 3 months and i told her i was on a diet and that i had lost 8 lbs and she said that if i lost weight that my body would stop producing so many of these horomones and i wouldnt have to take the meds at all

    So here is to me stepping back on the program and now that the problem i was having is fixed i am able to get into the gym wohoooo

    Shame won't help you get healthy. I say ditch it and get back on track to start feeling better about yourself.

    Are you referring to PCOS? If so, there's a support forum for that here on the boards. People can definitely empathize. Good luck and take care.

      Easiest thing to do is send food back with your guests. That's what we do when we host Christmas or Thanksgiving, or whatever.

        Get back on track, don't forget what happened - learn from it! Do whatever it takes to make sure it doesn't happen again. Next time you should only eat the items on the table that you have prepared specifically to plan and nothing else. You can have others host parties but you have to be able to step away from harmful foods.

        Congrats on your loss so far -- and on changing your hormonal problems!! That right there proves this WOE works!! Hope you shake off the SuperBowl disappointment and get back on plan! Join a couple exercise challenges and help get yourself feeling better

          i feel much better after having shared how bad i felt about it - it was better then keeping it bottled up

          yah they told me i had polystitic ovaries

          i tried sending stuff home with people and no one would take anything except a bag of oreos

            having to get back on it again i started gaining it all back but then i stopped drinking soda again so floating around 301 and about to go on vacation - would be nice to loose a few more pounds before i go

              Well done for getting back on the Atkins train before you regained all your former lost pounds

              F/60 yrs/5ft 5.5" (Though due to collapsing vertebrae I am now only 5'3" - but I refuse to recalculate my BMI )
