  • mood swings, insomnia and others

I have been living atkins for 4.5 wks this time round. My moods are stable. I'm not weepy and crabby anymore.
I've been getting more sleep in solid blocks. And my outlook on myself and life has changed dramatically. I know lots of this is because I have chosen a better way of life.I'm not stuffing myself full of garbage anymore.
I have a wicked sweet tooth but since Atkins it's lost it's punch, so to speak. My sweet tooth isn't winning anymore. I am!
ADBB has provided me with the tools I needed to get myself back on track to a healthier me.
The posts I post and the entries in my blog keep me motivated. By sharing HONESTLY with my new family here I am accountable for all I do. By opening myself up to you all I've let such light into my life.
My shoulders aren't slumped, my head is held high and my tummy is shrinking!!
Just wanted to share that with you all!!!Thanks.

    Thanks Lisa.
I love positive posts. They always make my day. So glad it is working so well for you. I think what I loved about Atkins personally was that I finally got a handle on my out of control snacking. It was a great feeling to gain the upper hand. I have a sweet tooth too

      Great uplifting post!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

I am glad to see someone posting such a positive experience! This is what keeps us keeping on. Even if we didn't lose weight, it would be worth it for other benefits!

        Congratulations!

        Sunny!

Well thanks everyone. I do feel good. Oh how I wish I could wake up tomorrow and be thin, LOL!!! Not gonna happen. I know if I don't work at it, it's not going to happen.
Now I want to work at it. I feel the difference. I look at myself different. You know?
I feel this way partly because of you all. I read all the posts I can and learn by them. I feel some of the things I read. I AM NOT ALONE!!!!!! That is a big deal. A BIG THANK YOU BACK!
