    Funny you mention the lowly radish... just about a week ago, and never before and Im no yung-un, either,... I decided to toss a few in with some other veggies I was stewing a goose in, instead of using them for traces of color in salad or for garnish before tossing them out.

    They really are good - to think I missed out on them so many years, like I've done also with beets, since early childhood.

    It doesn't hurt to try something again as if it were the first time, and forget the old memories. You may get a pleasant surprise - tastebuds DO change their minds!

      One other thing I do is to eat the veggies first before I'm allowed to eat my meat so getting to the meat is a bit of a "reward".

      Linda's Low Carb site is great for recipes.

      I also like to try new veggies and prepare them in different ways and find a way I like best. My current favorite is cauliflower rice, you can barely tell it's not real rice.

      Female/Hypothyroidism/Arthritis/Fibromyalgia - If I can lose weight on this, so can you!
