Hello I was just wondering when they say put heavy cream in a dish what kind of cream is it. Is it cream cheese or what. What is the brand name of the cream usually.

No, heavy cream is just... heavy cream. I don't know what brands you find where you live, but when I was in Baltimore I used to buy the one you find at Giant."Get action. Seize the moment. Man was never intended to become an oyster."

Re: Ingredients for an induction meal
heavy cream, same thing as whipping cream (not whipped cream!!) in the same area as light cream and half and half in your grocery store. Around here, we have garelick and Hood, but that varies by location. The carton will clearly say HEAVY CREAM though. I think they add stabilizers to whipping cream.
