The potassium is the only pill that can be toxic and if you want to quit that, you could make sure your veggies contain a lot of it.
I quit taking E when my blood pressure skyrocketed on it, but I believe fish oil is essential.
I haven't a clue what Furosomide is or what it does so I can't help with that .Green tea is great.
Also make sure your multi doesn't contain iron

        In general, it looks good.
Does your B12 have folic acid, too? It helps w/ absorption.
Green tea... good for its antioxidants, but make sure it doesn't have caffeine.
Furosemide (I assume that's what you meant)... was this recommended by your doctor?

Thank you SO much , I have never taken vitamins before so I needed to get the heads up ... My multi does have 18 grams of iron so I will go out today to get some without it . I will stop the potassium and the one you said you did not know what it was well that is the water pill not a vitamin , sorry I will fix that . Thank you so much as I thought I was invisible there for a bit . LOL . Have a happy V-Day . Rhonda

Oh, my bad... didn't read carefully before. If your doctor prescribed you Furosemide, I don't think it's such a good idea to stop taking it. Discuss it with him/her first, you don't want to do more harm than good.

Here's a similar thread if it helps:

                  Re: To many vitamins ?

When you take furosemide, your kidneys excrete potassium along with excess fluid. If your doctor prescribed a potassium pill to take I would not stop taking that. You need to talk with your MD before you change/stop taking the furosemide. People on diuretics can develop dangerously low levels of potassium- you will need to be especially careful because on this WOE there is an increased excretion of potassium. does your MD know that you are on this WOE? Potassium is a very important mineral for your body! Your heart and all other muscles need adequate levels to function properly. there are many cardiac side effects that can result from too little (or too much) potassium.

                    Re: To many vitamins ?

On our diet (low carb - ketogenic) it is good to take potassium. The pills we buy in the stores are very low dosages - no danger of any toxic reaction.

                      Re: To many vitamins ?

This is from the University of Oregon Study
                      Potassium Supplements

Multivitamin-mineral supplements in the U.S. do not contain more than 99 mg of potassium per serving. Higher doses of supplemental potassium are generally prescribed to prevent and treat potassium depletion and hypokalemia. The use of more potent potassium supplements in potassium deficiency requires close monitoring of serum potassium concentrations. Potassium supplements are available as a number of different salts, including potassium chloride, citrate, gluconate, bicarbonate, aspartate and orotate (29). Because of the potential for serious side effects the decision to use a potent potassium supplement should be made in collaboration with one's health care provider (see Safety).
Since your doctor prescribed potassium, I would continue with it, but I would also tell him/her your doing low carb.

                        Re: To many vitamins ?

Thanks so much to you all . No my doctor does not know I am on Atkins nor does anyone else ( except my Atkins family ) as I hate having to explain myself for no reason . But I will have to break that mode and talk with him about it this week just to be on the safe side . Thank you again for the valuable information ....

Rhonda, don't say Atkins, just say Low Carb, it doesn't produce the same eye popping reaction. And then you never know you might have an enlightened doctor
