  • Im guilty!

Hi folks, this is my first time to post. I started Jan 27, 2009 and its almost 3 weeks and lost 15 lbs. Tonight was a very bad night, I was good this morning, ate 1 sausage and egg salad with lettuce wrap but went out with my wife and went out to a Japanese All You Can Eat. I ate majority of 1.5 dozens of snow crab legs and oysters and some beef barbeques and sashimis and after were done i feel guilty, and im sure that im going to gain 7-10 lbs

My question is to those who fell in the trap, how many days is the average on getting back to ketosis and losing weight again?

    Thanks!

The answer to that would be just as broad as the question is!! It all depends on how many carbs you consumed, how active you are, how hydrated you are....too many variables. I've read here and there that most people return to induction for at least 2 days...very strict. I don't recommend buffets, btw. I wouldn't try that again....for a very long time. I don't think I've been to a restaurant since December. I've planned it that way!! I just don't want to deal with it, especially a buffet.

That's not that bad actually. My last cheat meal was in the neighborhood of 500 grams of carbs. It set me back a good week. Hit the water and the cardio, and depending on your age, you should be back to burning fat in a day or two. Here's two of my cheats, a big one and a small one.

It's a pretty good guide of what to expect. Just don't kick yourself too hard if this is a rare thing.

thanks guys for the support, i really cant tell how many carbs i ate, but didnt breads or rice, but im not sure how many sugars was there in their salads and sauces. When we got home i just head straight to the kitchen and drink a psyllium husk and tons of water.

Im always on my feet with my work and still do treadmills at night. Usually my ketosis is from mild to moderate daily. I just feel down tonight that i fell in the trap.

        thanks for the link tfek70!
