  • Halfway through induction, and I still want to brag xD

Ok so I've only been on Atkins for 6 days xD Not even a full six at that. However, I've still noticed some miraculous changes! On the FAQ section it said to brag whenever you can, and so I want to go ahead and brag so I can help myself stay motivated through out the day

Here are some small changes I've noticed in my life:

1.) I no longer cling to every minute of sleep as if it were my last. In fact, this morning, not only could I not sleep in before heading off to work, I HAD to get up about 30 minutes before it becomes "rush hour". This is partially due to the fact I have to PEE every 3 hours xD And my bladder had been holding it in, but still, I certainly haven't been even close to being late these last few days.

2.) Reduced appetite. I honestly am not as hungry as I used to be! It's a miracle!

3.) Culinary skills - I'll admit, I didn't have too many before. I thought it was pretty damn good if I made eggs and bacon and toast. For all I could care, I was the best chef in the world. Now I find myself making mock danishes, nacho cucumbers, zucchini hash browns... O_O And it feels like a work out just to put these low carb contraptions together to begin with! xD

Ok that's it for now :P Gotta finish eating my mock danish before work.

If a tree falls in a forest out of hearing range of any living organism, did it make a sound?

If a person eats yummy stuff without counting the carbs, did it have carbs to begin with?

WOO! Made it to day 7 and I weighed myself to see if I'm on track

5 Pounds! WOOT! xD My dog weighs less than 5 pounds! I just lost my dog! xDDDD

Ok here's a few more benefits I've noticed this week:

1.) I've drank a LOT of water! And I mean a LOT! And not only does water seem to make me fill "Full" but I've probably drank more this week than I have my entire life :P

      2.) WEIGHT LOSS! WOOO!

3.) I've been encouraged to exercise more - and EVERYONE should exercise!!! Whether they're on a diet or not

Sharon, well done on your first week - how have you been going since?

But what I really want to know is.... WHAT is a MOCK DANISH? Sounds Great!

I literally LOL'd when you said "I lost my dog!" LMAO!! I look at weight loss the same way. I just reached the 20lb mark and thought to myself "My daughter weighed 20lbs at age one. I lost a one year old!!"
