I'm sure that it is different for each person, but I just had this experience in the past two weeks. I weigh each week; and last week(week 5), I only lost 0.8 lbs. On Sat. I got my period. This week(week 6) I lost 7 lbs. I didn't realize that I would have held onto that much water. Anyhow, I'm just glad I lost the extra afterwards!
