Live in a rural area & finding Fage Greek Yogurt is an issue. Today I found Organic Stoneyfield Farm Whole Milk Yogurt.
Ingredients inclued organic whole milk, pectin & live cultures. My concern is the pectin & will this be an issue in this WOE.

I can't seem to find an ingredient list for the Fage Greek Yogurt. I don't recall pectin being listed.

Any help appreciated & thanks in advance!

What I know (I'm not 100% sure) is that pectin is a dietary fiber and it's used to make the yogurt more "jelly-like". I wouldn't worry about it.

Megs (not2late) might be able to give you a more certain answer though...

I love greek yogurt as its more like whipped cream cheese in consistency than plain yogurt. I think most of them have some sort of thickener added, but as long as they have live cultures, they are fine.

I've never seen greek yogurt here, or anything Fage brand. So I just eat full fat plain yogurt, it's 6%.

There's nothing that specifies it has to be 'greek yogurt' as long as it's full fat. Though i believe greek yogurt is around 10% and i hear it's fabulous.

I agree with Georgina about the pectin.

Its absolutely delicious. The only place I can find it is at our local food co-op and at Trader Jo' which is about a 50 mile round trip for me.
