  • Yippee!

Well I'm ecstatic about two things - First of all, in my first five days on Atkins I've lost 11 pounds and 2 inches off my waist. Because of this, my husband, who is about 80 pounds over weight, has heart issues in his family, has sleep apnea and was extremely apposed to going on any kind of "diet" whatsoever has now changed his mind and is starting Atkins with me today! Yippee! This makes me so happy, I've been worried about him lately. He just turned 40 and with sleep apnea especially I've been biting my nails a bit. So yay Atkins! I LOVE this WOE....

on your 11 pound weight loss AND for your DH taking the plunge into making changes for himself, too. You're a great role model for him!

          Woohoo!!

Congratulations on both your loss (of pounds and inches) and your gain (of an Atkins buddy in the family)
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
