Hi I wonder if anyone else has experienced the same as me and if this is normal or not.
On the first week of induction I followed the recipes out of the atkins induction and had no appetite at all and had to force myself to eat. However in the second week my appetite is back although I am not hungry I could quite easily have a cake or piece of choc (now on day 15) I made up my on recipes myself on week 2 sticking to the 20 carbs a day and around 12 of them on veg and salad. I am using fitday and am trying to get the 5% carbs 30% protein and 65% fat and around 1700 cals a day. For my lunch i add a tablespoon of mayo to add extra fat and in the evening cook my veg in olive oil and put a teaspoon of butter on them. I eat around 6 oz of meat at each meal and have been in ketosis ever since day 3. I don't have the appetite suppressant as i did in week one is this normal? I lost 3lb the first week and 0 on my last weigh in.
Would be grateful for any advice. Thanks ally
