  • Major Plateau..... so fustrating!

I seem to have it a major plateau. I have successfully lost over 30 pounds and have now hit a wall. I haven't changed the way I eat and I continue to work out, although I think I should be working out more than 3 days a week. This has been going on for about 6 weeks.

My only weakness is Diet Pepsi, I do pretty good for a few days and then I will breakdown and have a few. I have tried the new caffine free diet pepsi product and to me - it just tastes funny.

I need a big whoosh, as they say, just not sure how to get one started!!

I have reviewed the book, but not sure what to do. I went back into the Introduction phase, but nothing is happening.

    Any suggestions??

    Arghh!

Are you still losing inches? Dr. Atkins defined a weight loss plateau as 4 consecutive weeks without loss of pounds or inches.

If you were in OWL, what was your CCLL and what rung were you on?

I have lost may a 1/2" off of my hips and stomach, nothing too measureable. I was in the first rung of OWl and typically stay between 20-30 carbs per day. My only downfall has been the diet pepsi.

Loss of inches is a better indicator of the loss of body fat than the loss of pounds according to Dr. Atkins.

Also, 1/2 inch can be the difference between fitting into jeans or a dress and not fitting into them.
