  • I am so grateful!

First and foremost - Happy Friday Everyone!!

Second - I HAVE LOST 17 POUNDS!! In less than 7 weeks! This is just one reason I am so grateful for beginning this WOL...

I fell off the wagon on Monday. I could list all the excuses I had at the time but the truth is - I got comfortable with my weight loss and I didn't think it would hurt...huh! Live and learn I guess... It was a horrible experience. My body completely revolted against the bad carbs. In a matter of one day, I was back to feeling the same fatigue and bloating that I had been experiencing since a teenager. It seems I had learned to live with it before and so it didn't seem like such a big deal, but after not experiencing it for weeks and then to feel the cramping and bloating again - wow, can I truly feel a difference.

I know I've already said this, but YAY to the Atkins WOL! I am so very grateful to have decided on making this change for myself. It has changed my quality of life. What a journey..

P.S. I wouldn't have made it through the first few weeks without these forums...might be reason enough to become a supporting member!
