I have a question:
Although I am in late state extended induction (I need to pick a stop date soon and move on, although I'm dropping about 4 pounds a week), I ate some walnuts two weeks ago during a mini stall. One day later I was down a pound. Thinking I might really have something going (and being superstitious) I ate a small handful the next night (about 1/8 to 1/4 cup...2 or less net carbs) and lost again. I've been doing this with walnuts every day for about the past 10 and I've increased my losing. Besides that, I've felt better since I started with them.
My question is this: Although nuts aren't allowed until much later on in Atkins, am I doing harm if I've increased my weight loss and felt better since I've been eating them? I know what the Atkins book says about it, but Dr. Atkins was just the doctor, YOU guys are the professionals through trial and error.
Thanks so much, as always, for your help.
