I am in the same boat of not losing anything for a couple of weeks, a complete stand still. I been following the foods and not going off. I don't know what's going on with. I drink 64oz of water everyday and I have 20 carbs a day. I also exercise everyday walking 30-40 minutes a day on the treadmill or I do a 3 mile walking tape. Does anyone have any ideas that can help me along.

Re: No weight loss in 11 days/and I AM drinking all the water!
I'll reply to you here, but this should probably go in a separate thread. I saw you posted the same thing in several other threads, so I'll quote one of your previous posts here:
I'm afraid are not eating enough. Roughly... 3 eggs are 200 calories, cheese is about 100 calories per oz, the cheeseburger I don't know... maybe about 300-400, depending how big it is (?)... the salads add another 50 maybe. Do you add some fat in cooking? Or dressing on your salads? If you don't and that's all you eat, your body might be in "starvation mode".I'm frustrated as well, I been at a stand still for 2 weeks. I started out at 201 and I am currently at 190. For breakfast I eat 3 scrambled eggs with cheese. Lunch: Salad and for Dinner: Cheeseburger with another salad. I do exercise everyday either walking 40 minutes on the treadmill or do a 3 mile walk at home tape. Can anyone give me some advice on what I need to do or stop doing, I would greatly appreciate it.
But if your menu is okay, don't forget you lost 11 lbs in 3 weeks and you only have 45-50 to lose. That's a loss of approx. 25%! Weight loss is not linear and we often stay at the same weight for weeks. It can be frustrating, but that's how the game goes.
Make sure you are taking measurements, too. A stall is defined as 4 consecutive weeks without any loss in weight or inches."Get action. Seize the moment. Man was never intended to become an oyster."

Well thank you for your opinion Georgiana. Does it matter what thread I post my concerns in? I would like to receive input from anyone who can give me some advice as of what I was doing wrong, in which you have, which I appreciate. I use French Spritzer (store bought) and the cheeseburger are store bought patties. I use butter for my eggs only. I did add a cup of brocolli and 2 tablespoons of cheez whiz. I don't know what else to do...

It matters because you are hijacking the thread (me too, by replying to you and ignoring the original poster). It is also much easier for others to offer their help if you detail your problem in a separate thread, because most people don't go to the 20th or whatever reply in a thread expecting to find your question there -- they read the first post and then reply to that one.Originally posted by makemeover View PostWell thank you for your opinion Georgiana. Spritzer contains alcohol, so it is not allowed until OWL Rung 5. Even then, you must check that it has no sugar added.I use French Spritzer (store bought) and the cheeseburger are store bought patties.
Imitation cheeses like Cheez Whiz are not allowed during Induction.I did add a cup of brocolli and 2 tablespoons of cheez whiz.
If you wish, you could post your menu in the "Review my Menu" forum, where everybody can comment on it.

Re: No weight loss
Hello, I understand your concerns. Having been where you are maybe I can shed some light on your issue. When you start to lose weight you body naturally starts to excrete the extra fluid and fat in the cells. As you lose more weight your fat cells will actually fill with water waiting for the second that you might cheat. The body is a machine and does not like change. The cells will fill and you will have no reduction in body weight. This is where the whoosh will come in. \The body will get a signal that there is going to be no change in eating and it will drop the water weight that has been bloating the fat cells. It is an amazing thing. You can actually have a weight loss of up to 5 lbs in 1 night. One way to tell that this is happening is that you will feel very warm, and you will have to get up in the middle of the night to go to the washroom. Your body right now is doing everything that it is supposed to. You just need to be patient. Also with exercise the body will keep water for muscle regeneration and repair. It is so vital to the way our bodies work. The same holds true for someone who exercises. You cannot go by the recommended fluid intake. For vigorous exercise you are to drink 1 cup of water for every 15 minutes. You may be dehydrated and don't even know it. In that case your body will hold onto the fluid waiting for you to drink more. Exercise also releases toxins into the bod so it is even more important to drink up.
I hope this helps you.

Re: No weight loss
Here's how my body reacts. You may be the same.
Not Losing? Maybe you are a "Wait and Whoosh" body type
But based on your other posts, I suspect there might be other little things that don't seem like a cheat to you but may, in fact, not be allowed at your stage of things. All of these little things can really trip us up. If you haven't yet really sat down and read the book, then do so. At least read and really pay attention to the Induction stickies and the allowed Induction food list. Also I would up my pure water intake by an extra glass or two. Sometimes the extra pure water helps.
