tom decided to show her ugly face a day or two after I started induction, about 5 days ago i guess. I went to work out the other night, and only got through 20 minutes or so before I started feeling like crap. unusually painful cramps and felt pretty sick to my stomach. I wasn't over exerting at all, I had barely broken a sweat. I decided to keep it light and easy till tom is gone, but does anyone else ever have something similar happen?

Re: Working out on TOM
I usually feel weak and tired the day before and the first day. Then on the second or third day I often have a really good workout. No idea why--just my body's quirks I guess. I do find if I am regularly working out my periods are better than when I am not.

Re: Working out on TOM
Yep, I feel like complete garbage...such a curse it is. But if you're getting through the exercise for the 20 minutes....good for you!~Lisa~

Re: Working out on TOM
I skipped it for a day or two with really light stuff (just a few sets of push ups and whatnot) then got back into it today and again after about 25 minutes I just felt like absolute crap. I just layed in the recliner with my water bottle and sulked cause i felt like if i moved i'd barf.
I think I may have to limit the workouts to yoga and stretching during tom from now on.F/24/5'10"

Re: Working out on TOM
Everyone's body reacts to TOM differently so figuring out what you can and can't do is smart. Beats feeling lousy and feeling lousy about your workout too.
