Should I stay or should I go???

    Good Morning Everyone.

Today is my 14th day on induction (2 weeks). I started at 160 pounds and as of this morning March 16 I am 153 pounds. Is that good for 2 weeks? My goal weight is 140 pounds. I know because I don't have a lot of weight to loss the rest will come off slow . Should I stay on induction for another week?

There is absolutely no reason why you should even consider staying on Induction.

    1. You're obviously not metabolically resistant.
    2. You don't have a lot to lose.
    3. You should lose the last 5-10 lbs in Pre-Maintenance, so if you don't move to OWL now, you won't have time to go through all the rungs.

There is a sticky thread explaining who should consider extending the 2-week Induction:

Moving up the rungs is definitely the way to go in your case. And you will enjoy the variety of the extra foods as well. I hestiated to move up too, but now am glad I did.

The first time I did Atkins, I stayed on induction because I was afraid of moving up and that was my downfall. The rungs definitely are what keep you from backsliding. Good luck to you.
