    I have always thought this is one thing that Atkins has definitely going for it. No one says you have to eat such and such any time. The Atkineer gets to choose what meat and acceptable veggies and acceptable cheeses they get to have and only a few things are restricted in amounts. The ultra-restrictive part only has to last 14 days at that. If you don't like eggs or fish or even red meat, there are numerous successful Atkineers on this site who can be role models for that type of Atkins. There are people who have ultra-creative diets and people like myself, who enjoy the routine and monotony. It works in either case.

    It might not be for everyone, but I do believe it can work for everyone.
