  • Net carb question

Ive been around for a while reading lots of great info and advice
    question is:-
With the net carbs here in the UK do we still take away the fibre from the carbs to get net carbs? (for the quick check)
or just use the carbs value -something to do with our labels?
i think i read somewhere about the soluble fibre etc etc and how our labels are different just wondering if someone could clear this up for me i can t seem to find any reference to it in DANDR
sorry if im rambling hope it makes sense

    Re: Net carb question

In the UK, the carbohydrate count listed on the label represents net carbs (which is what we count on Atkins). In the US, the total carbohydrate and the dietary fiber are listed, and one has to do the math to get the net carbs.

      Re: Net carb question

As Georgiana says, the carbs listed on the label are net carbs (the fibre has already been deducted) so don't deduct the fibre. Zx
