  • Toppings on Pizza

Ok, I was out all day (until now) and for dinner I took the topping off of 2 slices of pizza, cheese, pepperoni, sausage, onion and peppers...should I be ok? There is no way to put it in fitday because there is no way to estimate how much everything weighed, I checked the list of ok foods on induction and they are all there...I was sooooo hungry, I just had to eat something...I feel terrible, I've been doing so well.

I think you did well. It is a lot of cheese but on the scale of things that one does not even register I think. You may start thinking about planning for things like these in the future and they will happen again. What can you store in your fridge and freezer for emergencies. I like burger patties, frozen meatloaf, boiled eggs, cans of tuna.

I completely agree, but this was not planned, we should have been home hours ago...I will make sure I take food with me...I could have had another of my lettuce sandwiches but the pizza was right there!

      Thank you for responding.

funny, i just finished doing this myself 2 mins ago! My husband left 2 slices of pizza in the box after dinner and i just couldn't resist walking past without picking at them!

The only thing I would think that could be an issue is the sauce, but really when you pull the cheese off there really isn't very much that stays behind..so I too would say you did ok.

eh - i've done it before off my fiance's pizza slices - 2 slices worth of toppings shouldn't hurt ya. if you're feeling like you shouldn't have - just drink more water and make sure next time to have something in the fridge (or around you) that you know is 100% legal and move on. don't beat yourself up over something small - especially when everything (maybe not the sauce) was technically legal!
