What is there that i can take for a sore throat?

I'll be 23 next month.
I have a wonderful/supportive bf and a daughter who is a year and a half old.
If I cant lose the weight for myself, I'll do it for her!

I read yesterday that a good, natural cure is to steep five sage leaves in boiling water for 10 mins - then gargle and swallow. I hope you feel better soon x224/200/165

Ditto the salt water gargles. Hope you feel better very soon.
Try sipping iced water... might numb the throat and relieve the soreness a bit.Before and after:

I only did the salt and water + gurgle thing, one time, 4 xs and man did it ever work wonders. It still itches a bit, but its already alot better. I knew there was something , as I did have a sore throat last time with atkins. Maybe they are associated?I'll be 23 next month.

If you take the water slightly warm with the salt it really is soothing. I am glad you are feeling better x224/200/165

Over night i developed the flu.... ugh, and just when i thought i was getting betterI'll be 23 next month.

Go to the doc and make sure it is not strep. My 14 yo was just dx'd with strep this morning. Feel better, when I have a sore throat I always look at it as a dieting device...lolOriginally posted by courtney_00 View Post
