  • should i be having .....

    12-15 net carbs from my veg/salad ?

    Target : 161 lb

    Minigoal 1 - 195lb / 13 stone 13lb-back in the 13's!
    Minigoal 2 - 189lb / 13 stone 7lb-The weight i was
    last Sept when i married.
    Minigoal 3 - 182lb / 13 stone


    Wk 1 : - 6lb.....I'm Back in One-derland!!!!!!!!
    Wk 2 : - stayed the same....
    Wk 3 : - 1lb - im off to OWL 1
    Wk 4 :

    Nope again. I've explained you in a different thread. If you do Atkins the way Dr. Atkins wrote it, then all you have to do is eat 3 cups of vegetables (see not2late's reply to your post) and have most of your net carbs coming from veggies.

      You should just be making sure that you are having 20 g a day total, and that your protein/fat/carb ration is on track

          Just a note here. 20 g is an upper limit, so don't worry if you have less. Most folks are not able to get 20 g and still follow the rules of Induction.

          No worries.
          It's better to go by the book. The Atkins company introduced the 12-15 g rule probably to leave people some space for their shakes and bars, none of which is "legal" during Induction.
