  • Goodbye Plateau!!

I did it!! I finally did it. After a very long plateau at 177 pounds I have finally started to lose weight again. I got on the scale this morning and I was very happy to see 170.4 staring back up at me!! I last weighed myself at the beginning of March and it was still 177 (I weighed 177 at the beginning of February). My goal is to be in the 160's by April 1st. I'm pretty confident that I will achieve that goal!! To anyone out there that is stuck at plateau, please don't give up! Just stick with it and you will start to lose weight again.

            Re: Goodbye Plateau!!

Congrats! I totally agree. I was in a horribly long plateau but have lost 4-5lbs in the last week...it was certainly worth 'sticking it out'.

Thank you guys so much!! It really was worth sticking it out. I'm glad that I did. It can be very discouraging when the scale doesn't move that is why I try not to get on it too often. I'm really glad I joined this board. Everyone on here is so nice and encouraging!! Good luck to you all on your weight loss journeys!!

Good for you! I was actually looking for someone that has gotten over a plateau because I'm so stuck on 176 lbs. and its driving me crazy!!!! But there is hope! I am so happy that I found your posting because now I'll just keep doing what I've been doing and my day of the scale moving down in numbers will come.

                            Thanks!
