cups into ounces. I did not measure my stuff today but I have my scale (yep, I keep a scale in my desk drawer...lol). How do I concert 2 cups of salad veggies into ounces?

Well, there really is no "rule" that converts weight to volume for any food since they have different densities... but what you can do is see how many carbs 2 cups of veggies have, then figure out (in FitDay) how many ounces have the same amount of carbs.

Of course, you could also simply enter your veggies in cups.

Um, a cup is a size unit of measure (I think it's technically called fluid) where your scale would be weight. They're different.. like, a cup of sand is quite a few more ounces than a cup of feathers... get it?

Other than that, there are 8oz in a cup.

Thanks Liv and others! I am looking at the sticky now...

One cup of cucumber looks like this:

          1 cup cucumber = 104 gr = 3,7 oz ½=1,85 ¼=0,93 1/3=1,23

They are all written like that.

          What does 1/2-1,85 I don't understand the 1,85

          thanks

It means half a cup is 1.85 oz
A third cup is 1.23 oz

I thought that might be what it was but wanted to be sure.

That is a great resource, I printed it off both for home and work!
