Yup and mine know it. I have already lost some of the cartilage in one. The extra weight just grinds it down to nothing.

My mum had to have a knee replacement surgery because she had worn away all the cartilage in her knees. And she's only about 40 lbs overweight. (5'9" and about 220). And here I am about 60 pounds overweight. Scary!
