  • Grazing Habbits

    I am terrible at typing long messages about how I feel, but here I go.

    A couple of weeks ago, I was trying on clothes and realized the majority in my closet don't fit. Whenever I got on the scale it said I had gained 13 pounds. I know to some that does not seem like a bunch, but it looked like the end of the world to me. That night instead of working on weight loss action, I stuffed my face with Olive Garden. How counter productive can ya be!!! Dang!

    Today I am working on writting a 30 page paper, and it made me realize something. Whenever I studied, I grazed on junk food. M&M's, french fries, candy.... My stomach doesn't miss the food, but my hand and mouth miss the motion! What a strange thing to miss.
    I have been drinking on a liter of water, but my brain knows the difference!

    Brain is trying to trick you, is it?
    Yup grazing used to be my huge problem. I still has to think about it and reign it in once in a while. The constant eater - that's me.
    I also used water to combat it when I started Atkins. I had a bottle of water in every room in the house. It helped.

      I have tried keeping water in every room in the house, but then I can never find any glasses!

        instead of the junk try good foods -- make a bowl or plate with thin slices of celery, radishes, zucchini, cauliflower and broccoli -- make sure you count it toward your daily total but you can still graze....it's just a healthy way of snacking!
