  • Gained 3.5 pounds!!

    well i just ate a big steak and gained 3.5 pounds. Think my broccolli intake was too much.. Its probley cause im fool though. I HAVE A PROBLEM im obsessing about that scale... its driving me crazy. I go up a pound i go crazy dont know whats wrong with me
    If at first you dont suceed try again.. IF i can do it. Anyone can.

    Did you weigh right after you ate the big steak? If you did, you were weighing all the food and drink you just consumed. If you weigh, get off the scale and drink a 16 ounce glass of water, get back on the scale, it will show that you gained a pound. You should only weigh first thing in the morning without any clothes on. If you are scale obsessant, you should get someone to hide them from you and only get them out once a week. You'll drive yourself bonkers with that scale obsession.

      thanks.. i mean i really am trying.. my mentality when i looked at the scale after i ate and it said 3;5 pound.s Ive been exercising 1 hour everyday like hard. i about said forget it ill just eat ice cream if im going to gain like that.. but i didnt i did drink tea with cream.. ahh.. sorry im just frustrated.

        It WILL drive you crazy if you eat and weigh!!! That is almost like asking someone to make you feel bad about yourself! I guess if you were just doing it out of curiosity, that would be alright....like to see how many pounds a certain amount of water consumed would put you up. BUT, sheesh!! Don't eat a whole meal and then weigh! I can't think of a better way to make myself feel bad! Don't do that to yourself. Not to mention, it's really late too. Really late in Florida. I wouldn't weigh in the morning after eating this late at night. I haven't eaten dinner yet....never eat this late but I need to eat something so I will. Probably a steak....I have 2 left that are at the cook it or freeze it now stage! Now, because I'm in the weigh, no way challenge I'm not scared to eat this late!! There won't be any bad feelings in the morning because I won't weigh!

          yeh i wanted to do that challenge but it already started .... i shoudnt eat this late huh..

            Well, if you haven't eaten for many hours (that's me!) you should put something in your system but be careful with huge meals really late at night...and don't weigh right after. That's self sabotage. Don't do that to yourself!
