    Re: STEVIA question...

Sorbitol isn't organic or natural, so it kind of cancels any benefit of the stevia. It's a sugar alcohol. Saying that, I think I'll try it myself as I think we should use combinations of artifical sweetner so we won't get a lot of one thing, Does that make sence

      Re: STEVIA question...

I read from a post that someone really liked SweetLeaf Stevia Clear (Liquid Stevia) -- so I got a bottle. It says "add 5-8 drops to your favorite beverage or food. Adjust to preference". I added 5 drops couldn't taste it -- added 3 more drops -- still nothing .... added a total of 12 drops and had a mild sweet taste but believe me it was M I L D. I'll try it again in a few days but I am disappointed in it so far.

        Re: STEVIA question...

In March, I went out and bought Stevia at the health food store figuring to replace my coffee sugar. Blech! It has a very bitter aftertaste in coffee. So this morning, my very first day of Induction, I used Splenda instead of sugar. You would have laughed at the vision. There I was, standing in the kitchen in my yoga clothes, with my "best" coffee of the morning, took a sip, and then smiled. I must have put the right amount in, cause it tasted great. (Keep in mind, it's 6 a.m., and no one else is around. ) I will try the Stevia in other things at some point, but for now, I just want my 2 "good" cups of coffee in the morning!
